Need & Problem
MY HYPOTHECA had an Airtable base started by a working student but needed professional guidance to turn it into a reliable operational tool. When the student left, they needed someone to take over the system entirely understanding their business processes, developing new functionality, and ensuring long-term maintainability.
The Solution
I built an internal operational system in Airtable Interfaces for daily employee use, working closely with the CEO to understand the business needs and translate them into practical Airtable solutions.
I designed a lead pipeline tracking lead stages per advisor, feeding into workload visibility and bonus calculations.
I integrated Jotform and OneDrive into the workflow and set up automated email templates via Airtable's Outlook integration, allowing employees to personalise client communication while reducing manual effort.
I created management dashboards to monitor advisor capacity and flag leads lacking activity, giving leadership a clear operational overview.
Many of these requirements pushed beyond Airtable's native capabilities (particularly around dashboards), where built-in features have significant limitations. Delivering the right output consistently required creative problem-solving and custom logic to work around those constraints.
